Angles- The Strokes
Really liked this album! Probably just as much, if not a bit more than Is This It. Some of the songs had this sort of 80s vibe, and a lot of the melodies were distinct and catchy. Their sound wasn’t terribly different to me than it was in their first album. But I probably just haven’t listened enough to notice an evolution or change in their style. I love Julian Casablancas, his voice is fantastic, and I really enjoyed Angles. Shame they didn’t tour with it (at least I’m pretty sure they didn’t)… Would love to see them live!
